Sustainability
OJGreen, our Sustainability Committee, continues to advance our sustainability efforts by tracking and monitoring our environmental impact and identifying opportunities for improvement. Sustainability is a cross-functional effort, with the OJG Social Compliance team working closely with Production, Fabric, Design, and QA/QC teams, as well as leadership, to support responsible sourcing, circularity, and continuous improvement.
Our key sustainability initiatives focus on carbon emissions and goal setting, engaging 3rd party charities.
Carbon Emissions
We continue to strengthen our understanding of our carbon footprint across our operations and supply chain by collecting and analyzing emissions data. This work helps us identify key sources of emissions and provides a foundation for identifying areas for meaningful improvement over time.
We remain committed to improving the quality and scope of our emissions data and using these insights to inform our future sustainability endeavor.
Goals
OJG has been reporting its Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon footprint since 2016. We established a target to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 25% by 2030, using 2022 as the baseline year. As of 2025, we have achieved a 19% reduction from our 2022 baseline.
In 2023, we expanded our carbon accounting efforts to establish our Scope 3 carbon footprint, providing a more comprehensive view of emissions across our value chain. We continue to evaluate opportunities to establish and advance Scope 3 emissions reduction goals as our data collection and measurement capabilities develop.
We make monetary contributions to organizations that protect, restore, and rehabilitate forests in North America and internationally.
Forest Conservation
Each year, we provide employee volunteers and financial support to help maintain and improve neighborhood parks and green spaces across the five boroughs of New York City. Through this partnership, we contribute to cleaner, greener, and more accessible community spaces.
Partnership for Parks
FabScrap
On a monthly basis, we collect and recycle or upcycle fabric and mutilated samples through our partnership with FabScrap. In 2025, this initiative reduced CO2 emissions by 19 tons.

UN Global Compact
Nirapon (safe place in Bangla) is an industry-led nonprofit that works with global brands, retailers, manufacturers, and other NGOs to create and sustain a culture of workplace safety in Bangladesh factories. One Jeanswear Group LLC has been a Nirapon member since 2018. We collaborate with Nirapon leadership and members to support the Nirapon Safety Management Program.
